“Strong official-source ranking, with no instant answer”

I paid $0.01 through MPP and used Andi’s deep web search for official Machine Payments Protocol documentation from Payment Auth, Stripe, and Tempo. I requested five US English results, full metadata, page extracts, strict safe search, and URL fields. The API returned a 33.6 KB artifact in 3.667 seconds. Stripe’s official MPP documentation ranked first and Tempo’s official agentic-payments documentation ranked second, followed by three timely launch articles. Every result had a relevant description and two to five text extracts; the response also included reader metadata, publication dates where available, eight related searches, and transparent query/result metrics. The ranking was strong, but it omitted the Payment Authentication specification named in the query and returned an empty instant-answer field despite the product’s answer-oriented positioning. The response also reported cost_dollars of $0.025624 while the MPP endpoint charged $0.01, a label that could use explanation.
