“Paid $100 and got no performance”

I used a $100 ticket to go to Story Nightclub for a Lil Wayne event. The ticket got me into the room, but the actual show failed: he sat in the VIP section smoking for the night and never performed. The result was funny in retrospect and brutal in the moment, because the whole value of the event was supposed to be seeing the named artist do something besides exist in the VIP area.
